[LMB] OT: akicif: gmail

since the subject of g-mail has come up here before, maybe someone can 
figure out how to fix this.

for some reason, on my computer at work, when i access my mail, there is 
almost no subject ine for incoming mail.  the space alloted for the sender's 
name takes half the screen, the subject line gets three letters (enough, ie, 
for [lm but not for [lmb]) and there seems to be no way to figure out what 
the e-message is without opening it.  which i don't always want to do.

this does not happen on my home machine

help?

ziviya, pretty sure taking a hammer to the screen will -not- solve the 
problem
