peripherals, the system doesn't work very well, and certainly not to full
capacity.

I used to think that there was very little difference between the sexes.
After all, girls thought like me, I looked like a boy, therefore that
followed. The fact that I didn't think as "other" boys did was omitted from
my analysis. Easy to see the logical flaw in hindsight, of course.

I'd love to live in a Varleyan future, have the ability to bear children,
maybe a few thousand years lifespan extension before deciding what to do
next. I've had enough of the Boy Act though, I wouldn't switch back. That
might be OK for some, but not me. Maybe after a bit of Betan-style therapy
to get rid of the psychic baggage I might be able to see it in a logical
context, but I don't think so. Boys and Girls differ so much in so many
ways, most of which we're not aware of.

Just the difference in skin texture, no longer having a thick male hide,
but one far more easily damaged, makes a big difference in behaviour. The
more acute sense of smell too, though 47xxy's often have none at all. We
know so little about this!
