Yes, but that would be girls growing up under Aral's
Regency, highly influenced by Cordelia - eduction for
women then would be a given. When Alys was young, did
they have schooling then?

Maybe. I think Ezar might have felt universal
education to be a good and necessary thing - but what
priority could he have given it?
