That was Anon's review of the telephone directory ?

My grandfather read ours when visiting (he had never had a telephone, if
wanted at the dock they would have sent a messenger) and found it of
interest and indeed I read a French one when on holiday (instructions on
renewing identity cards and upteen alphabetic sections, one per commune).

And there are libraries (and book pushers as on this list) to add to the
readers but not the sales.

And _Bird Biology for Beginners_ which I had for several years before
opening.
