When I was visiting my daughter in Charlottesville, Virginia, I read the 
telephone directory one long afternoon. At least the yellow pages. I was 
truly surprised to find a Thomas Jefferson Memorial Church ... Jefferson and 
Church seem like a contradiction in terms.

It was, of course, the city's one and only Unitarian church.
