Pi was a GREAT example.  It's just that the
way of expressing that example has variations.
The possibilities are limited, but the choice among
the possibilities is arbitrary.  I think the choice of
a number base is similar -- though I suppose any
positive integer would be among the choices.  Well,
maybe not base 1 ...
 
Popular expressions of real world physics seems to
suggest, IIRC,  a 12-dimensional "space".  I wonder if
dimensions 5 thru 12 are all sort of collapsed into 
Arde Mayhew's   5-D jumpspace?
