Well, that's what Miles thought. On the other hand,
Aral mentions possible testicular scarring from the
attack that put Miles in the uterine replicator, which
might affect fertility. We don't know if his parents
shared that info with him. Betan technology could have
cooked up another child, but it doesn't seem Barrayar
was up to it at that point. Maybe once Aral was regent
he decided it was dangerous to have more kids: if it
was a girl, people might think he was planning to
marry her to the emperor, if it was a boy, a
non-mutie, he might be planning to replace the
emperor.
