Louann, who is hoping for a Lois like career path -- steady stream of 
good books but never an old book written over again -- from Gardner. As 
opposed to a Barry Hughart career path-- here are X great books and no, 
you can't ever have any more. Because she really, really wants to read 
some new ones.
