Hey, for ontopic posts it's okay that I'm behind, right?

Absolutely. One of the things I adore about the house we moved into
down here is that it resembles part of the description of the Vorthys
household:
"The Professora rescued the bouquet and ushered him into her tiled
hallway, closing the door firmly behind them with her foot. ... Miles
craned his neck, glancing into the rooms off the entry hall: a
cluttered study lined with bookshelves, and a cluttered parlor lined
with bookshelves."
And I've thought that it's a great example to model on. Now we just
need to keep working on the greenhouse for young minds part.
We've repeatedly done the planning a meal from dessert backwards. :-)
As for least favorite characters, the original question - what it made
me think about was characters that bug me the most. The more dramatic
villains don't so much, because they so ARE villains.
Tien makes me twitch, in part because of the been-there, done-that,
lived-in-the-trap feeling. Although the bit about having moved around
and not kept friends always makes me twitchily look at our life and
how much we've moved around and makes me work harder at keeping
connections.
Piotr is another one that leaves me with complicated twitchy feelings,
because he isn't an out-and-out villain. I can dislike his reactions
while at the same time understanding where they come from and seeing
the path to it and why he feels that way.
