Format depends on the product, but once you've bought a title
you can download it in any of the available formats as many
times as you want. You can burn CDs of it as well. They do keep
your library for you, in the Webscriptions mode--I stopped
having an automatic subscription more than a year ago, but I can
log in and see all the titles I've purchased, and download them as
needed.

I'm not sure how their software end works, as I use iTunes, and
that lets me burn a CD of things in my iTunes library. As Audible
mentions burning CDs, I assume there's some mechanism to allow
it no matter what program you are using to manage your sound
files.

I've been pretty impressed by their service, though I didn't like
some of the setup of the subscriptions when I had one. I believe
they have revised all that, though, so I may consider another
round now that there's another accumulation of titles that I'm
interested in.
