[LMB] Which Bujold for book group?

I just joined a book group last fall and it's my turn to pick a book.

***  I'd suggest _The Curse of Chalion_.  It stands alone, the 15th C. 
Spanish court history aspects would give quite a few hooks to hang 
discussion on, and it had rather better availability in England than 
most of my other titles.
