Well , I'm working at a temporary second job for some extra money and I 
think I've hooked someone on_ Beguilement_. The gentleman at the computer to 
my right is a retired engineer who reads science fiction(he already likes 
Miles) but doesn't like fantasy, he says. He's also attempting to write a 
novel with a romasnce plot to it. today at lunch, he's moaning he forgot his 
notebook to write ideas in and has nothing to do while eating. So I loaned 
him my new paperback copy of Beguilement.(I carry at least two paperbacks 
usually, I still had something to read) By the end of lunchbreak, he's 10 
pages in and I've heard "D*mn, she's good!" at least three times. I bet he's 
done with the book by Friday, if he doesn't stay up too late tonight. I'll 
carry COC wirh me just in case.
