Well, that seems to have worked! While I'm on a roll, I'll repost my initial
question for the Listmind, based on a rereading of SoH:

how does cordelia figure out that the other "agent" in prince serg's
assassination (other than aral) is the chief surgeon? is it something he
says or does? i can see how she puts all the other pieces together, but this
one eludes me.
