Yes, that's what had troubled me about the name "sousleau"  --
although it certainly conjures the image of young Miles jumping into
the lake 19 times in 15 minutes.
Although the 'sous l'eau' topos doesn't seem to have been much
explored in the Vorkosiverse ... can't recall any underwater scenes
offhand.
