*    how does cordelia figure out that the other "agent" in prince serg's
assassination (other than aral) is the chief surgeon? is it something he
says or does? i can see how she puts all the other pieces together, but this
one eludes me.

I took it that if Serg was wounded and not killed outright, the Chief
Surgeon is the person who could ensure that the wound was fatal.
