[LMB] OT: 1st SF, was Andre Norton works at Project Gutenberg

My first real SF or non-children's fantasy was _The Calibrated 
Alligator_ an Asimov collection.  I can't remember if all the stories 
were his, or if he just got editorial credit.  Before that, I read some 
children's fantasy and fairy tales.  The most notable children's book 
that qualifies as SF was _A Wrinkle In Time_, by L'Engle.  After Asimov 
though, I was hooked, as it led straight to the Heinlein juveniles, and 
quickly thereafter I was reading the Foundation, Niven (crazy, man, 
crazy!) and Tolkien.  Niven blew my mind, it was the first time I saw 
the s-word or the f-word in print, read graphic sex, and I learned a lot 
about astronomy and astrophysics from him.
