your point in no way contradicts mine. the mom was there, but teh kid was
not underfoot and mom wasn't looking. would it have been different if mom
was taking the kid-free time to clean the kitchen, cook dinner, and maybe
even put up her feet and read her own book?
and, while agreeing that each indivudual case causes said individual much
pain and suffering, how often does real harm or even harsh bullying happen
at libraries? it seems like such a safe environment to give kids an
independent hour or so.
and perhaps i was a goody two-shoes, but do kids really wreck the place if
parent* is not available?
