hte limit was 10 books per library patron, when i was a child at the
brooklyn public library. or possibly 10 books at a time, and no problem if
10 today and 10 tomorrow. although since we went once a week, it was no
problem to return all 10.
and the helpful librarians seemed to have read every book, so if i said, i
read these three and this was good because ... and this was good because ...
and this was almost good except taht ... happend: the librarian could help
me find a new book!!! and now it seems there are e-resources that do this,
but there's nothing like a real person who has read everything and can help
a little girl find it on the shelf :)
ziviya, library patron since first grade.
