heh. not sure I had dyslexia. I just read words in random order, bec a word 
from three lines away and across the page would appear as the 'next' word.

self-correction:
tear the blank margin off the ditto pages* the teacher gave out, and 'white 
out' a large chunk of the page above and below where I was reading.  I still 
didn't get all the words in order, but at least I had a much smaller sea to 
fish them out from[2].

and me too, I still do the weird thing when I'm too tired to focus on one 
line at a time.  its ok.  -everyone- acts a little weird when tired, and 
this isn't bad.

*does anyone remember the really smelly purple ink that smelled worse as the 
hot cylinder rolled around to ink page after page? and what a miracle it 
seemed, to have enough copies to hand out to the whole class/school

[2] from which to fish them out? that sounds even worse.
