Well, yes, but isn't that the whole point? The stalker
rationalizes that what he is doing is 'okay' because
it's love.

Nobody ever said songs have to be about good
behaviour, any more than books, poetry, movies or TV
shows.

I love that song.

Can't say I'd want it at my wedding, though.  Maybe at
the reception.  As irony.
