and so, when a girl who plans to stay at home with the kids is dating, the 
pressure is right back on.  he had better be a good breadwinner, bec. 
staying at home seems to be a luxury these days.  'domestic diva' isn't a 
job no one wants to do, but it's pretty darn expensive, and usually gets 
hired out to cheaper labour.

single moms don't get to be stay at home moms unless they want the stigma of 
welfare.  they they get sneered at, if you couln't afford the kid, why did 
you have it?  with no flak going back on the deadbeat dad, who isn't around 
to help or hear the blame.

this rant isnot directed at anyone on list, but it happens more often that 
it should :(

having listened to a two hour rant about 'why doesn't that bum send the 
support check, and why is my daughter crying bec daddy didn't pick her up 
for his weekend..." and then reading pat's post about women allegedly 
earning as much as their boyfreidns...
