The Tixie enters from stage left, carrying her companion, Tom,  who only 
seems to get energetic enough to walk when someone opens a can of Fancy  Feast.  
The Tixie is beginning to suspect that something addictive is added  to that 
brand of catfood, judging by Tom's behavior when he goes into  withdrawal.  Or 
something resembling that state, anyway.  
 
Wings in place, wand held high, and Tixie Dust at the ready,  the Tixie 
salutes . . . Paige Kalika!!  May she have all the good things  she wishes for her 
29th birthday!!  Good food, good company, and  books.  Lots of books, and 
other presents that give her pleasure!  And  a special birthday cake.
 
Tixie dust is scattered, then the wand is waved, and it is  sent in a swirl 
from North Carolina to Paige!
