They tried out electronic voting in a few constituencies (including mine), 
the election before last, here in Ireland.  And no, I couldn't see any way 
to spoil one's vote (not that I personally wanted to, mind you).

The whole thing came to naught, though, and we were back to good old pencil 
and paper for our General Election earlier this year.  (Which I prefer for 
many reasons, not least that there's no chance of the computer eating half 
the votes.)
