That's why you need to come to Atlanta for GaFilk 
[http://www.gafilk.org/] & hang out with lots of nifty local listies, 
including list-founder Mike Bernardi [who temporarily becomes local 
then].  Florida listies have also been known to come to Dragoncon 
[http://www.dragoncon.org/].  I had a lovely time hanging out & 
chatting with Richard Macdonald & his wife this year.  This trend--of 
listies coming to Atlanta to hang out with me--is highly desirable & 
needs lots more encouragement.
