Assuming you're running Windows XP, and your account is as usual with
Micros**t an administrator account, it sounds like something has gone
wrong with your write permissions. Check the properties tab on each of
these drives and see whether they are in fact writable to. (Right-click
on the folder or icon and select "Properties" at the bottom of the
drop-down list, and make sure that the "read-only" checkbox is not enabled.)
