Naw, they could produce a new organ with about 24 hours notice.  In Real 
Life (tm), they are doing things like printing ears with a 3D ink-jet 
printer, modified to use cartilage and skin cells for ink.  By the time 
of the Vorkoverse, they could produce a working kidney from stem cells 
in not much longer than it takes to grow the stem cells, call it a week.
