I figure anyone who might be specifically speaking to me on this
subject pretty much has no idea who I am and as such their
opinion is worth zero.  More to the point it tells me a lot about who
that person is.  Some of those people may have issues given their
past experiences, as do we all to some degree or another.  If they
choose to conflate me with whoever did them wrong then that is
their problem and I will make sure to give them a wide berth to avoid
them making it mine.

I don't like sexism of any sort.  I get just as uncomfortable with men
or women bashing regardless of the gender of the basher.  If I think
the speaker might be given pause to think about the effects of their
attitude then
I'll say something.  If not, I'll make sure to spend as little time in their
company as is possible,
