Don't bet on it. I spent about 10 years getting pneumonia every winter 
and then it stopped for about 15 years. Then it became any time I got 
seriously fatigued or get any form of upper respiratory tract infection 
it rolls into pneumonia. I just finished 4 days of minimal dose 
colchichine and got a minor URI which is now rapidly turning into 
pneumonia.
