This always kind of amuses me (even though I'll do it when
writing as me, but won't in character dialogue when writing
fiction about people who don't follow this rule) because G-d's
name isn't really 'G-d', it's a Hebrew word. G-d is just a
specific singular of the English word 'god' which also refers to
beings like Zeus and Thor.
