when we adopted my son, I was able (with a lot of work and the
wonders of Oxytosin)to breast-feed him a little - maybe 20% of
his food intake. I never produced a whole lot, but he was a
patient eater, so it worked pretty well for both of us.
a year later, when we adopted my daughter, she was so hungry and
so impatient that I never had the time for any milk I might
produce to come in.
I'm assuming that, by the time of uterine replicators, they'd
have better ways for a mother to bring in milk.
