I had a party here on Saturday night with three separate groups of
roleplayers who don't tend to mix, various other friends, and Ultimate
teammates (most of whom fall into the other categories).  There was good
food - I made my Gran's cheesecake - and good conversation.

Very quiet day yesterday, which was just what I needed, what with the new
daylight savings changeover.  My brother said I should be able to celebrate
my birthday for an hour in April when it changes back, since I lost an hour
yesterday.  I think he's onto something.

My parents gave me proper sheepskin slippers.  My feet and ankles are nice
and warm.

No books, but earlier in the week, I bought several, so that probably
counts.  Now I need to find somewhere to shelve them...
