As I now know. I probably wouldn't have checked it out if I'd known that.

I don't do that because dust jacket flaps often contain spoilers.  They really do.  I'd rather not
know too much ahead of time. I'd rather start reading and see what I get. I read the first
paragraph of the book, and the first paragraph of the blurb on the dust jacket.
