This is the number two reason why I stopped reading LKH (after about 4 Anita 
Blake books and the first Meredith Gentry one).

The number one reason was that I signed up for a novel, damnit.  There's 
supposed to be Plot.  Sex scenes are not plot.  And then I accepted that I 
was actually reading soft porn rather than a novel... but the sex scenes 
just weren't that good.  I've read better sex scenes in Harry Potter fanfic. 
(And better *stories*, come to think of it.)
