Agreed ... My old cdes. over there, members of the OCI, including one
American expatriate, were involved (not as students but as young
workers); the Paris - Lyons - Nancy demonstrations were much more than
"student riots", involving strikes and demonstrations by the unions.
There was not much in the way of terrorist bombing going on, in those
years that was more of a Weatherhead thing in the States, and to some
small extent a Felquiste thing in Canada (although that was more early
60s.).
Believe me, '67-'71 was 40ish years ago ... I vass dere, Sharlie.
