yes, eve/roarke is prettyness on a rerun. it gets old fast. but the
supporting characters are charming, especially mavis the singer, and the
reporter lady (nadine?)
most of her recurring female characters are bloody strong minded, even if
not in a traditionally bloody strong-minded job, such as singer or
manucurist/beautician. i find that very enjoyable. who says that you have
to take on a traditionally male job, like cop or serious reporter, if you
happen to be bloody minded? seriously single minded girls can stay be
feminine, too!
ziviya, approving of bloody minded women who do not actually have to draw
blood as part of the job
