i like some of the crusie books (which were recced on this list, or i never 
would have started them!)  crazy for you, in which the stalked woman was 
brushed off by the good-old-boy cop, made me furious, although hte actual 
romance was pretty good.  funny it was not.

'bet me'  is the first one i read, being on the sale rack.  it was good 
enough that read more of her books.
