[LMB] Trease

Thanks to whoever recommended Geoffrey Trease... and why haven't I ever 
heard of him before...?

I shot through _Snared Nightingale_ today, and was utterly charmed.  The 
writing manages to be both simple and gorgeous, the first-person 
narrator's voice strong.  It does seem to end one chapter too soon -- I 
wanted a codicil, although the opening scene does supply something of 
the sort.  It'll be interesting to compare-and-contrast the next title, 
which is third person.

The Minneapolis Public Library has quite a few of his older titles, in 
the downtown branch.  After that, it's off to the on-line purveyors.
