You know, with just another line or so, we could turn this into a 
discussion of possible pear recipes in _Chalion_, which would be 
nicely [and shockingly] on-topic.

Jerrie, not much with recipes, but a whiz at the On-Topic Twist 
[which scans nicely to "Peppermint Twist"; if anyone's inspired to 
write it, feel free.]
