i imagine 2 books - a how-to, illustrated, annecdote-filled thing by
ekaterine, and a glossy coffe table book done by a professional photo-book
person. creating a book about one's hobby seldom has much to do with the
actual hobby.
i also envision loads of pamphlets (or newspaper columns) by everyone,
teens to college students to granparetns:
'a day visit to the vorkosigans gardens'
'a budget copy of lady vorkosigan's garden for the country home'
'how the vokosigans are trying to put one over on everyone - again!'
'the vorkosigans's guide to native barryar flowers, shrubs, and grasses'
'a glimpse of lady ekaterine vorkosigan and her gardens'
'rita vor-skeeter tells all - lady vorkosigan and her secret lover meet
between burn-weed and love-lies-itching!'
book tours, feh. that's for people who have to drum up interest in their
books. see that big v-o-r in the auther's name? forget book tours.
ekaterine has better ways to exhaust herself. and she hates crowds, i seem
to remember - or at least being the center of attention in a crowd.

does she have the remotest interest in writing? just because half hte
people on this list are writing Ye Epic Novel TM *waves at everyone* doesn't
mean she wants too. or, more practically, that Our Auther wants to write a
character who writes. (let us not forget that ekaterine is a figment of our
collective imagination, hmmm?)

there has to be a peter whimsey type, or a bertie wooster. the two
extremes - the upper class is a bunch of useless fops, its the valet or
butler who figures things out. or, the useless fop is really clever, if
only he could apply himself.
ziviya, on topic yet again, this is habit forming
