The sad part is, when I tried this out, off list, with a co-conspirator  to 
be named 
never (to enlist still others) the text-based columns went out and echoed 
back perfectly legibly.   
 
But by the time the list-at-large got it -- well, darn.
 
ObBujold: It's kind of like Evon Vorhalas's sonic grenade  attack on
 a slowly moving ground car.  Flawless in the initial  conception, 
sloppy in the final execution.
 
Much like CARL Vorhalas, I suppose. 
 
Small apologies to those already bent by the month's old
debate about top versus bottom posting for making fun of you
both.  
 
Medium apologies to those grossly confused.
 
Vast apologies to those hoping to get in on the Fool's Day prank and
