RS:
 Yes, the speed of change has worried me.  We see things mostly working out
- and anywhere within 5 miles of Cordelia, I expect things to continue to
work out - but the Barrayar we glimpse in Shards of Honor is much different
from the one we glimpse today.  Well, maybe Ezar's ploy was successful - he
got rid of a significant fraction of the opposition in a way that didn't
reflect on the Emperor, so minimized that reaction.   But I would expect a
significant concern about speed of change in the hinterlands.  I would
expect there to be reactionary movements, not just by the Bad Barts but
supported by commonfolk traditionalists, too.
