This brings up an interesting question: what would you have to offer
if civilization fell?

Me, I do food. I can do just about anything with just about any
random pile of food. I can preserve, especially drying which is good
because canning/jarring may be unavailable. I have good enough
theoretical knowledge of salting, brining, and butchering (I do fowl
all the time and know anatomy) that I feel I could do it if called
upon. I know what books I'd pack if civ fell and I needed to carry
something with me.

I also knit so can make some sorts of clothing.
