[LMB] trashy books for guys - what's the difference?

I rather like Tom Clancy, but I skip all the info-dumps about how the 
thingummies work.  My hubby likes these bits.  I don't know if this is a 
male/female divide or just a him/me divide (he is something of an "I don't 
know anything about art, but I know what I like" kind of reader, whereas I 
am more prone to analyse writing technique - sometimes, at least!).

Until the sky falls on our heads...
