No. Not at all.

That being said, I find that I enjoy books more if I can read them one at a time, especially if
I'm really into them - which is the best way to be.  By preference, I'm a sequential monogamist
when it comes to books.

I read more than one at a time because logistics make it advisable. Sometimes it's because the
large hardcover I'm reading won't fit in my purse for reading on the bus. Things like that.
