How would you count me? I take, at last count, 13 different
medications. Prescription, I mean. The OTC stuff, tack on three more.
The doctor panics when I need another med. He couldn't do it if his
computer didn't tell him about the various drug interactions.
I did quit taking the Novolog (short term insulin) when I reduced my
kcalorie intake, and lost enough weight. I might could stop taking the
statin, for a while, at least, if I stay on the diet much longer. Other
than that, I need pretty much everything I take. I could live without
the Provigil, if I had to, but I would turn into a slug. Make that a
snail.
Oh, and then there is the CPAP machine (sleep apnea-treating device).
It's definitely either/or between it and the Provigil. Couldn't get by
without both, must have one or the other.
