I say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.  But if it ever comes up, 
consider Lantus insulin.  Generally, Humulin 70/30 is sometimes a 
twice-a-day thing.  Lantus is a true once-a-day thing.

(I take a lot of it, though, 60 units, currently.)
