I believe that the colon is now appearing in "AKICOT:L"
as a short-cut means of including the " OT: " marker to indicate that
it is an Off-Topic post, since most of the requests for knowledge
qualify as such.  I seem to remember it being suggested only a few
weeks ago, but the rate the posts fly by here it could be easy to
miss, particularly if one is reading the digests.
