The first makes him salivate (which he thinks counters
the idea in the first place), and the second makes his
breath smell like salami.  He also says it tastes horrible
(and would have been extremely insulted if he'd read that
it claimed to be "mint" before he tried it).   :)  Personally,
if it were me, I'd be using the Prevident (except he's
had his current tube for probably 3 years) over the Periomed.

It's neither.  It's a prescription only thing called Fluoridex.
It's minty, and makes me salivate.  It tastes like fluoride,
naturally. Fluoride has a distinctive flavor.  This stuff is
full of it.
