I remember back when Hallow Hunt first came out: no, they are not. It
takes place roughly 400 years earlier.
*** Earlier, but not by that much; 150 - 200 years at most. About the
only internal clue is that printing has not yet been invented at the
time of HH, and in CoC it's a fairly established technology.
If we take this world's Charlemagne to be about 800+, that puts HH (400
years later) at 1200-ish, and Ferdinand & Isabella = Iselle & Bergon
mid-1400s, but I am not compelled to track the dates of my source
material that religiously; I have flex as needed.
