To Pat Mathews, or as she is known some places, the Gray Badger and one my
best friends ever. May you have lots of books and friends and good weather
to travel around town in, fuzzy cats to keep the bed warm, and knowledge to
keep the brain happy. (Little known fact: since she retired from University
of New Mexico, she gets free classes for life. Is that a Ravenclaw paradise,
or what?). 

 

Faithful Companion, who has shed on her _personally_ over the years, yawns
and sneaks back to the bathtub (freshly rinsed out) where the _good_ water
is and pretends she knows nothing about this.
